Below details our Fortnightly Burglary Dwelling and Vehicle Crime Alert, which is shared across all members subscribed to Sussex Alerts.
This data is provided for crime prevention purposes, some data may be removed from this report where there is an operational need, or where there is a risk that personal information may be identified.
Residential burglaries Total reported: 2
02/09 – 03/09 - Hailsham - report of a garage broken into overnight, with items stolen. No suspect identified.
Vehicle crime Total reported: 17
01/09 - Crowborough, Palesgate Lane - Rear number plate stolen.
02/09 - 03/09 - East Hoathly - Catalyctic coverter stolen overnight.
02/09 - 03/09 - Hailsham, Station Road - Stolen motorcycle.
04/09 - 05/09 - Uckfield High Street - Car appears to have been keyed overnight.
05/09 - Golden Cross - Theft of a motor vehicle.
08/09 - Cross in hand - Attempted theft of a motor vehicle.
10/09 - Hailsham, Garfield Road, Wing mirror has been smashed.
11/09 - Hartfield - Car had been left for an hour, owner had returned and found the window smashed and their handbag taken.
11/09 - Forest Row - Phone taken from mobile phone, car was left unlocked.
Burglary Prevention Please make sure your outbuildings and garages are locked and secure. We are continuing to investigate these burglaries and if you see anyone acting suspiciously around a property, please report it to us on 101 or 999 if you are witnessing a burglary in progress.
