Surrender any ninja swords

Between 1 July to 31 July, a national surrender and compensation scheme is in place where you can dispose of ninja swords at specific police stations. No questions will be asked about where the weapon came from.

From 1 August it will be illegal to possess, manufacture, sell or transport these weapons.

Find out more about the scheme and where you can dispose of them here: https://orlo.uk/7DaOI (nearest stations in your area for safe disposal are

πŸ“

Brighton Police Station, John Street, BN2 0LA,

πŸ“

Eastbourne Police Station, 1 Grove Road, BN21 4TL or

Please wrap your weapon in newspaper, bubble wrap, or cloth, then place it in a sturdy bag or box that’s completely sealed. Go directly to the surrender location without making stops - further FAQs can be found on the link above.
