March News Alert

PCSO Monthly Ward Update

February has been and gone in a flash. Fingers crossed that spring is finally on its way 😊

Community Updates:

Things are getting busy in Patcham and Hollingbury.

A couple of things to mention in this news alert.

We have seen a speight of garden furniture thefts in the Westdene and Patcham area. Please bear in mind as the evenings get lighter. Where possible keep your furniture secure or out of sight if possible.

We have been made aware of a suspicious van which has been seen in the area. The van has European number plates. It has been seen to pay particular attention to people’s gardens however it has not been seen to have committed any offences yet.

We are aware of this vehicle and have the VRM. Rest assured we are paying close attention to it.

If you do see the vehicle in the area acting suspiciously, please give us a call.

There was a serious crash on Braybon Avenue in the early hours of Sunday morning last week.

A young male remains in critical condition and a police investigation continues.

We are very aware that residents have found this particularly distressing and will continue to support and reassure residents as much as possible.

If you or anyone else has been affected by what has happened, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Other News.

I am very happy to announce that the Duck Fayre will be going ahead this year.

Saturday 24th August is a date to remember. Please get this in your diaries.

This is a brilliant community event, lots of things to do and see and best of all lots of food stalls.
