Sussex Alerts - Lewes and Seahaven Police 

Reports of dogs becoming unwell.

Police received a report of a dog having become unwell after being walked in Views Wood, Uckfield, on Thursday (18 January).

For local awareness, similar reports have also been made in Lewes and the Peacehaven area prior to the festive period.

Our neighbourhood policing teams across Wealden and Lewes are aware and are engaging with local partners. 

Appropriate action will be taken should there be any evidence of a wider health issue or criminal element.
