Sussex Police Crime Alert and Call to Action


Good morning Neighbourhood Watch

 

We are continuing to receive reports of commercial vans being broken into across Horsham, where doors are being drilled and tools stolen. 

 

Op Dakota is a targeted investigation into these incidents and we will continue to provide crime prevention advice across our media channels.

The Allmond Centre, Fairfield Cottage, Cowfold - Break to a works van parked in the car park overnight. Appears crowbar was used on side door deadlocks. Tools stolen. 

Elm Grove, Station Rd, Cowfold - Van side door has been accessed  overnight by using a crowbar and hole drilled in door; tools stolen. No CCTV or forensics. Similar incident 6 months ago. Several vans affected in the same village. 

White Close, Broadbridge Heath - Neighbours CCTV caught a male checking out the informants van. When he couldn't gain access he left.
