Good evening Neighbourhood Watch

We have received three reports of car doors being tried and vehicles being ransacked in the Broadwater area.

21/04 - Fletcher Rd, Broadwater, Worthing - The informants vehicle and 3 others in the road have been tampered with/stolen from. Nothing stolen and no damage on this occasion as the car was unlocked.

21/04 - Fletcher Rd, Broadwater, Worthing - Informant assumes vehicle was not locked as there was no damage. Car was ransacked but nothing taken.

21/04 - Pembury Close, Broadwater, Worthing - A male was seen in the area trying multiple car doors. Male seen on CCTV footage. Officers attended and location is 13 minutes walk from Fletcher Rd.

Please disseminate this information and urge vehicle owners to make sure they have no personal possessions on show in their cars and to ensure their cars are locked.
